Faulty Roofing and Gutters
Issues in your roof or guttering can build up over a long period of time. However, if untreated could lead to severe issues for you and your family. For example, if faulty guttering causes a build-up of water then this can lead to further damage to the roofing, dry rot, flooding, damp and mould.
You have the responsibility to inform your landlord as soon as possible. It is your landlord’s duties to fix the property within a reasonable time. If your Landlords fails to carry out adequate repairs then you may be able to make a housing disrepair claim against them.
